My name is Megann Horstead, and this website serves an online portfolio showcasing samples of my work. I am a news reporter with a special interest in newspaper, broadcast radio, and online news media jobs. As my online portfolio shows, I can be classified in large part as a generalist. It has enabled me to report/write on a wide range of topics over the years. I am open to full-time work and/or freelance news reporting opportunities that allow me to cover civic meetings, attend community events, create slice-of-life features and produce enterprise stories.
