Raising Cane’s in Naperville to open this month

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, a Baton Rouge, La.-based chain launched in 1996, will open April 25 at 698 S. Route 59. A ribbon-cutting will be held at 9 a.m.

"It's exciting," company marketing advisor Anna Ball said.

"We have a very focused menu with high-quality products," Ball said. "(Our food) is always marinated for 24 hours. It's never frozen. It does take four to six minutes to get your order. We make our Cane sauce – it's tangy with a little bit of spice. It's a product that stands out competitively."

The company also prides itself on getting involved in the towns in which they're located, which includes Oak Lawn and North Riverside in Illinois, she said.

"We do support our community," Ball said. "We do the 15 percent giveback during fundraisers, we'll do sponsorships, we have our website, CanesAndCommunity.com."

Cane's was attracted to Naperville for several reasons, not the least of which is its appeal to families, she said.

"It's only been voted the No. 1 place to live for so many years," she said. "We know residents are involved in the community, and so are we. A lot of people go to Naperville to live and shop. It's just a great place to be."
